Demanding better for Hamstead, Great Barr, Yew Tree, and Tame Bridge. Learn more

Transport for West Midlands have delayed their planned changes to the 424 service until February 14th, on the grounds that there should be less traffic through Perry Barr during lockdown. They have made an additional change, and the route will not longer go as far as Star City.
They plan to have notices at bus stops ahead of the changes coming into effect, once the details have been confirmed.

Transport for West Midlands have informed the Focus Team that the changes proposed for the 424 service will not now be implemented, and the service will continue as is until April, and probably beyond. This is due to “probable need for a wider network review” after the Covid-19 pandemic and its restrictions are over.
